I am Dr. Paul Rignanese, PhD in Neuroscience, with 8 years of experience in the field. I am since 2023 a post-doctoral researcher in the Kind Lab at the University of Edinburgh. I specialize in creating tools to collect and process neuronal and behavioural dynamics, using open-source software when possible.
I created Neuro-Hack in 2025 to diversify my experiences with other neuroscientific research projects and a plurality of collaborators. Based in Edinburgh, I offer my services to neuroscience academic labs or research companies around the world.
I have experience in data collection and analysis in various neuronal and behavioural data types. I can use my skills at most stages of a neuroscience research project in its design, setup, data analysis, and results rendering for publication. I also provide training in professional scientific Python development.
